Web site praised by newspaper
Wide Web site caught the editorial eye of the Financial Times, BIBA said this week.
"The web site received a pat on the back from the Financial Times when the paper ran a feature on the new site in their `Cyber Sightings' column,'' BIBA said.
The Financial Times said the site was "nicely designed and has links to a range of resources related to doing business on the island, including a searchable directory.'' The newspaper also mentioned that those who registered on the site could win a trip to Bermuda.
The site, Bermuda-inc.com, has received 52,000 "hits'' since its launch two weeks ago, BIBA added.
Bermuda-inc.com, gives information about forming a company in Bermuda, securing professional services and BSX trading as well as the latest information from the Island's insurance market. Visitors to the site can also browse the Tourism Department's web site.
None of Bermuda's competitors have a web site of this magnitude, exchange CEO William Woods said at the launching.
The web site will be featured at the Bermuda booth at Shorex, an offshore business centre trade being held this week at London's Design Centre.
