Before her makeover: Mother of three and granny to two (with another on the way), Warwick resident Clara Jones, worked at Belco for over 30 years before retiring. She was picked by Kim-Kita's Beauty Salon and Barber Shop for The Royal Gazette's special Mother's Day makeover and placed in the capable hands of stylist, Y. Amelia Heath.

Every woman want's to be pampered this Mothers' Day and what better gift to give than a day at the salon, or even a makeover.

Kim-Kita's Beauty Salon and Barber Shop on Church Street offered to perform just such a makeover for Warwick resident, "Auntie" Clara Jones.

The Royal Gazette's Tricia Waltersspent the morning at the salon documenting the process as stylist Y. Amelia Heath transformed Mrs. Jones into 'glamour mom'.

Glamour Granny: After her makoever, Clara Jones proudly shows off her new hairstyle, making her not only look younger than her 60-something years, but also reflects her great personality and beautiful smile. Mrs. Jones is very much a people person and during week days you can find her volunteering at the Hospital's Pink Cafe.
