Bermuda lost to Zimbabwe by 83 runs in the final of the Tri-Nation Tournament in Port of Spain, Trinidad on Saturday as Zimbabwe's opening batsman V Sibanda led the Test nation with 112.

Bermuda, playing in just its third one day international, struggled to respond to Zimbabwe's first innings total of 259, with Lionel Cann's 40 off 32 balls coming too late to restore the Bermuda innings of 176 all out in 47.2 overs.

Bermuda coach Gus Logie will be happer with this result than the first match with the Southern Africans, which Bermuda lost by 194 runs. But he will still be searching for a reliable pair of opening batsmen after Treadwell Gibbons Jr. and Azeem Pitcher were out for a duck and 2 respectively to leave Bermuda on 2-4 after just four overs.
