Former world champions Eric Bristow and Keith Deller will pit their skills against ten selected local players in singles play and two mixed doubles matches. Following this they will play a series of matches against each other.

An entrance fee of $10 will be charged for the exhibition, which begins at 8.30 p.m.

Deller was the world champion in 1983, a British professional champion, Double Diamond Masters champion and World Cup team champion. He is currently ranked number seven by the World Darts Council.

Bristow is a five-time Embassy World champion, five-time World Master, World Matchplay champion in 1985 and '88, World Grand Prix champion in 1988 and four-time champion in the World Cup singles, four-time British champion and four-time North American Open champion.

The Crafty Cockney, as Bristow is nicknamed, has won every major title in the sport. He is synonymous with darts worldwide, from Toronto to Tokyo, Birmingham to Brisbane, Newcastle to New York.

Bristow was honoured by Queen Elizabeth in February, 1989, with the award of MBE for service to sports. He is the first and only darts player to be accorded such an honour.

Local players selected to play on Monday are: Gregor McQueen, Charles Roberts, Steve Hayward, Wayne Harvey, Ronnie Thorne, Vernon Daniels, Jimmy Pratt, Bart Lewis, Steve Hickmot, Steve Gere, Terry Cartwright, Elizabeth Simons, Dawn Bealing and Jean Clark.
