A Pembroke pair appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday to answer a raft of drug charges.

James Waldron, 29, and Malisa Swan, 28, denied charges of possessing cocaine, cannabis and cannabis resin with intent to supply.

They further denied cultivating cannabis and possessing drug equipment, specifically two grinders, a scale and a green bowl.

The total value of drugs alleged to be involved in the case is around $5,200.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the defendants on bail, ordering the matter return to court in the new year.
