Gerard Gouvernon, a Southampton Princess waiter, was seen by Police just before 1 a.m. on Tee Street, Devonshire on February 19, Magistrates' Court heard.
He was holding onto the handlebar with his head leaning against a stone pillar, prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy said. There were scratches on the bike and on his chin, and debris on the ground.
Gouvernon, of Pink Lane, Devonshire, denied having an accident and was arrested when he tried to get back on the bike.
His blood-alcohol level was 200 milligrammes in 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80 mg.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis fined him $450 and took him off the road for a year.
