Dexter faced 118 balls while striking two sixes and seven fours while Ricardo hit five sixes off the 62 balls he faced.Also among the runs were George O’Brien (17) and skipper Dwight Basden (14).With Cuts able to occupy the crease for the entire 50 overs the Southampton bowlers were made to toil although Christian Gibbons and Janeiro Tucker managed to turned in respectable figures.Tucker snatched three wickets for 35 runs from his 10 overs while Gibbons, who also bowled 10 overs, finished with three wickets for 38 runs.Cuts had lost their first three batsmen for 44 runs but stability came in the form of Basden and Brangman, the pair putting on 96 runs for the fourth wicket.Southampton’s early batsmen fared no better than Cuts, losing their first three wickets for 59.However, unlike Cuts the home side found it difficult to build any decent stand as nobody was able to partner top batsman Janeiro Tucker who struck 68 runs with fives sixes and six fours from the 68 balls he faced.Others reaching double figures were Kwame Tucker (22), Dion Stovell (20) and Curtis Jackson (16). Kevin Fubler was the leading bowler for Cuts with three wickets for 24 runs off eight overs while Jermaine Trott had two for 23 off four overs.
