Pace rides clear with moto treble
extend his overall lead in the motocross points series.
Jamal Pitcher took a firm hold on second place with three second place finishes while Scott Constable rounded out the top three in his debut race of the season.
Cory Smith made his return to the sport and was unfortunate not to get better results after a sparkplug problem prevented him from starting in the second moto. A determined rider, Smith finished fourth in the first and third motos and could be a force to be reckoned with once he finds form.
Jimmy-Lee Weaver won all three motos in the 80cc class but the runner-up for the day, Aaron Cannonier, took over the points lead from last year's champion Steven Panchaud. Nicholas Hassell rounded out the top three.
In the 125cc class, Wentworth Tucker beat out class leader Ali Hatterley after the latter got a flat tyre in the first race and missed the second and third motos.
Ricardo Nottingham, the lone 250cc rider, took over the points lead in the absence of Duprey Joell and Jimmy Heyder. Nottingham is nine points ahead of Joell with four rounds or racing left in the season.
Randy Munro stamped his authority on the 50cc class in his debut ride. The nine-year-old edged out the KTM trio of Jonte Smith, CJ Ratteray and Zahkie Iris. Smith, however, managed to take over the lead on points, opening a nine-point gap on second-placed Iris.
Gary Cann edged out leader Anthony Grant to finish first in 60cc action with a second and two firsts while Grant had a first and two seconds. Tullio Cocolatics rounded out the top three with a second and two thirds.
