The tour is being led by David Chapman, author of the Daddy and I Explore environmental series, and Bermuda Environmental Alliance youth leader Jahmali Bridgewater.St. David’s CCC Gilbert Lamb Day featuring the Mohawk Grande Prix go-cart race, kite competitions, track and field events for children and adults, a tug-o-war competition and a hot dog eating contest. The race takes place from 4pm until 5.15pm. Patrons are asked to make their way into St. David’s well before 4pm as roads will be closed to traffic to allow the race to take place.Young United Bermuda’s Annual Good Friday Kite Festival at Horseshoe Bay Beach. This fun-filled free family event features various kite competitions, a tug-o-war competition and a great line up of entertainment. Event runs from 11am until 4pm.Botanical Gardens Tour starts 10.30am at the Botanical Gardens Visitors’ Centre near the Berry Hill entrance to the gardens. The tour will go through sub-tropical fruit groves, cedar and banyan trees, formal gardens, a sensory garden, cacti and display houses with exotic plants.
