Reward offered for missing dog
backing up their plea with a $500 reward.
David and Susan Roblin said their dog went missing from their new home in Southampton two weeks ago and despite taking out advertisements with the reward posted, they have had no luck in getting their family pet Winnie back.
Mrs. Roblin said: "Winnie managed to get out of her electric fence collar and because we are in a new home, she probably got lost. We really are desperate to find her.'' Mrs. Roblin said the dog is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, although the six-year-old medium sized dog "looks like a mongrel''.
"Winnie is a really nice dog -- a great family dog -- very friendly. She is reddish in colour. Hopefully someone who may be feeding her will phone us,'' said Mrs. Roblin.
Anyone with information can call the Roblins at either 238-2745; 292-7676 or (cell phone) 235-3842.
Missing: If you find Winnie you can collect a $500 reward.
