Butterfield Bank’s preference shares rose 0.41 percent ($5) to $205 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank traded 50 shares during the day.Butterfield also saw 100 common shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.25.BF&M Ltd. meanwhile, dropped 0.35 percent (five cents) to $13.95 with 1,400 shares transacted.The Ascendant Group Ltd. traded 800 shares worth $15 each.Overall the Index slipped 0.35 points (0.03 percent) to 1,151.4, as 2,300 shares worth BD$31,654 and 864 shares worth US$70,011 changed hands.The BSX Insurance Index also dipped one point (0.1 percent) to 1,034.
