The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 0.66 points yesterday or 0.03 percent to close at 2,746.1807. A total of 42,058 shares worth $1,374,182 were traded.

The Bank of Bermuda remained unchanged at $44.25 after only eight shares were traded, while the Bank of Butterfield gained 50 cents or 1.5 percent after 41,150 shares were traded.

Long Botham Boats Co. Ltd. fell by 95 cents or 19 percent to close at $4.05 after 100 shares were traded.

The only other issue to be traded for the day was Argus Insurance Co. Ltd. which fell $1.50 or 7.1 percent to close at $19.50 after 800 shares were traded.
