today for the Bermudians who represented the Island at the Commonwealth Games.
At noon, the team will assemble at the Cabinet Office on Front Street in Hamilton where they will be greeted by the Premier and the Cabinet.
By 12.20 p.m. a motorcade will leave the Cabinet Office heading towards City Hall.
The motorcade will travel along Court Street to Front Street, then along Queen Street to Church Street and into City Hall.
After a special ceremony on the steps of City Hall, the motorcade will depart for the Princess Hotel.
They will travel along Church Street, to Burnaby Street, and then along Front Street to the Princess where a luncheon will be held in the team's honour.
*** Meals on Wheels is appealing for volunteers to help the registered charity supply nourishing cooked meals to people who are too ill to prepare proper meals for themselves.
The South Road, Paget charity prepares hundreds of meals for those in need four times a week -- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Volunteer drivers, cooks and pot washers are needed. Drivers would begin their shifts at 11.15/11.30 a.m. while cooks begin preparing dishes around 8.30 a.m.
Pot washers are needed to start their duties around 10.30 a.m.
Anyone interested in volunteering their time to this worthwhile charity can 236-1815.
*** The Bermuda Junior Service League will be holding a coin drive, `Coins for a Cause' from September 30 to October 3.
The charity is asking people to donate their loose change with the proceeds being equally split between PALS and the Bermuda Health Alliance.
The public can drop off their coins at one of 25 locations throughout the Island, including all branches of the Bank of Bermuda, all MarketPlace stores and Gibbons Company.
*** All former students of Warwick Academy are invited to celebrate Buck Rogers' 90th Birthday this weekend.
The festivities will take place at the Royal Amateur Dinghy Club from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 4.

*** The Bermuda TB Cancer and Health Association will be holding Educational Workshops at their headquarters on Cedar Avenue in Hamilton as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The workshops are a perfect opportunity for the public to get their particular questions about the disease answered.
The workshops will be held from October 12 to 16 during lunchtime.
