The old Plantation Restaurant will re-open for a night tomorrow for the “Dusk Till Dawn” Halloween party.

The nearby Leamington Cave will also be reopened for the guests to add to their dinner experience.

It is thought to be 26 years since the restaurant, on Harrington Sound Road, was last open.

Developers are working on plans to overhaul the old restaurant and the neighbouring five-bedroom house on the Leamington Caves Estate.

Mohamed Hamza, chief executive officer of developer Dragonfly Ltd, said: “We are working towards developing the Leamington as a bespoke destination home.

“It is our aim to provide a very high-end luxury catered experience for our guests at the property. Cuisine is a large part of the vision at the Leamington.

“Having a leading-edge cuisine experience to offer our guests is highly sought after by our target demographic.

“This starts with the re-opening the cave system for a few guests as part of their dinner experience and resurrecting the old Plantation Restaurant as an event space for October 31.”

The chef for Saturday’s dinner will be Corey Sousa, a Bermudian who was previously with the Fairmont Southampton. Guests are promised a “Bermuda-inspired Mexican fusion experience”.

Nakternl Entertainment and Dragonfly are hosting the themed event, which will have a dress code based on the 1996 horror movie From Dusk Till Dawn. Tickets cost $150.
