Three young men have been charged with attempting to murder a 19-year-old Sandys man .

Joshua Geoffrey Wolffe, 23, of Cockburn Road in Sandys, Steven Jireh Iris, 17, of Radnor Road in Hamilton Parish and Leshaun Scott, 18, of Middle Road in Southampton appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with the attempted murder of Kevin Jamel Albuoy on July 10 in Southampton parish.

They were not required to enter a plea because the matter is indictable and must be heard in Supreme Court.

Wolffe was solely charged with having a bladed article in Southampton, namely a knife with a six-inch blade on July 10. Iris was solely charged with having an offensive weapon, namely a chain with attached padlock in Middle Road on July 10.

And Scott was solely charged with having a wooden stick on July 10.

The three young men will appear back in court on July 28 for mention.
