The company has submitted an application for planning permission to change the use of the 22-unit apartment property on South Road in Warwick from tourism to residential use.
The property, known as Astwood Cove, has had temporary residential use permits for the last two years at the request of its current owner, Maudamar Limited.
The property has been used to provide temporary living accommodations for visiting workers. The former guesthouse is not included in current official tourism bed-count figures.
