Two Southampton men were this morning charged with breaking into a woman’s house carrying an imitation firearm.Obrien Gibbons and Sean Evans, both 22, were charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly entering an East Avenue, Southampton home as trespassers in the early hours of September 17 while wielding an imitation firearm.Mr Gibbons was additionally charged with assaulting the complainant, Teklesha Simons, earlier that same morning.Neither man was required to enter a plea as the first charge is indictable and must be heard by the Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner denied the men bail, remanding them in custody until October 4, when the matter will be mentioned again in plea court.
