Magistrate Edward King gave Anderson a one-week prison sentence for making a nuisance of himself in St. George's on Thursday.

It is to be served at the same time as a two-week sentence handed down by Senior Magistrate Will Francis on Monday.

Anderson, 59, of Old Maid's Lane, was caught by Police on Saturday in Customs House Square while on bail from the Thursday offence.

Yesterday, he told Mr. King: "When the cops came to me I was up the road. I did swear. And I admit drinking because I knew the officer was going to take it from me.'' WOMAN FINED FOR RESISTING ARREST CTS Woman fined for resisting arrest Resisting arrest, assaulting a Policeman and cursing at him will cost a Pembroke woman a $300 fine.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis fined Janeene Lashae Harris after she pleaded guilty to getting violent when a Policeman tried to arrest her on January 31.

Harris was observed by Police at 12.10 p.m. standing on Court Street. They checked for warrants for her arrest and found she had several outstanding against her name.

Harris, 20, of Princess Street, told the arresting officer she had sorted out the warrants at a Police Station.

When the Policeman took hold of her arm to make an arrest, Harris struggled with him and shouted: "I already went to the station. I'm not going with you.

Don't f***ing touch me.

"Take your f***ing hands off me,'' she continued, raising a helmet as if to strike the officer. "Stay the f**k away from me.'' Mr. Francis fined Harris $100 each for violently resisting arrest, assaulting an officer in the course of his duty, and using offensive words. The fine must be paid by March 31.
