A 37-year-old Sandys man was rushed to hospital with facial injuries after coming off his bike on Crow Lane on Thursday evening.

It appears he was travelling west when he lost control, clipped the sidewalk and hit a tree. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Traffic travelling out of the City of Hamilton on Crow Lane was diverted up Lane Hill for approximately half an hour following the collision.
