Town Race over five and a half miles, organised by Mid Atlantic Athletic Club.

The main event at 2.00 p.m. will be preceded at 1.00 by a relay race in which teams of three will compete over three laps, each runner completing about a mile in distance.

Entries for both races close on Friday and forms can be picked up from and returned to Sportseller, New Winner's Edge, the Pro Shop or the offices of sponsors, Bermuda Insurance Institute.

JUNIOR GOLF GLF On a windy afternoon at Southampton Princess, Ryan Mello came away victorious in the novice division of Bermuda Junior Golf Association's latest tournament with a nine-hole score of 37.

Mello defeated Sean Outerbridge by two shots with Ryan Marshall in third place, a further three shots back.

A captain's choice event at Ocean View saw the team of David James, Fraser Hunt, Scott McLeod and Jay Butler lead the way with a score of 65. In second place on 67 were Robert Spurling, Charles Markey, Mark Robinson and Davin Smith with third place going to Justin Barritt, Matthew Durrant, Aaron Burrows and James Boyce on 68.

SOCCER SOC All members of Western Stars Sports Club, and others wishing to assist, are asked to contribute to a work rally on Saturday morning at 9.00 when work will be carried out both inside and outside the club.
