Mazars unveils global rebranding
International tax, audit and advisory firm Mazars, which has an office in Bermuda, has unveiled its new global brand identity in more than 90 countries and territories.
Before the rebrand, the company had slightly different variants of its logo in some parts of the world. Now Mazars has a simplified, universal logo featuring lettering in two shades.
Mazars said the rebrand reflected its aspiration “to bring choice and a different perspective to the audit, tax and advisory market, and reaffirms its commitment to building a fair, prosperous and sustainable world”.
The company has had an office in Bermuda since 2011, and employees about 10 people locally. Its office is in the AS Cooper Building on Reid Street.
Ian Mutch, consulting principal for Mazars in Bermuda, said the company had good local expertise, a wide reach around the world, and prided itself in its personal approach.
He added: “I am excited with our new brand supporting our personal approach with a global perspective. It highlights that with our deep local understanding combined with our international expertise we are well poised to support clients of all sizes and across all sectors with tailored financial crime, compliance, and risk advisory support.”
Michael Newton, managing director of Mazars in Bermuda, said: “Our new brand identity and positioning captures our ability to bring a personal, local touch to our clients in Bermuda as well the scale and expertise of our international firm.”
Meanwhile, Hervé Hélias, chief executive officer and chairman of Mazars Group, said: “I’m very excited to reveal our new brand identity and positioning, after two years of deep and broad consultation with our partners, employees, clients and stakeholders. It reflects who we are today and confirms our aspirations for the type of firm we want to be in the future.
“We are one connected team around the world, with the scale to serve large international clients and the agility to be creative and personal in our approach. In each country we operate, our teams combine cultural understanding with global perspective, offering clients of all shapes and sizes a true partnership, one that gives them confidence in their business and helps them achieve their ambitions.”
The company said the rebranding is part of Mazars’ evolution into an international group. It has 25,000 colleagues around the world, and an additional 16,000 professionals available through the Mazars North America Alliance. Mazars said it wanted to "bring a genuinely different perspective to the audit, tax and advisory market, which is reflected in the new brand identity“.
