Warwick 254/8 Flatts 255/3
James Celestine struck a fierce 139 not out to lead Flatts to a seven-wicket victory over Warwick in this high scoring First Division game at Lord's.
In making the spirited reply in a bid to reach their winning target of 255, Celestine respected none of the Warwick bowlers, slamming them all over the ground and putting on runs at a rapid rate.
He faced just 74 balls and hammered 14 fours and 11 sixes, getting valuable batting support from a rather subdued Vernon Eve who chipped in with 37.
The only Warwick bowler escaping with a respectable average was Lamr Caines who had two for 38 from seven overs with a maiden.
Earlier Flatts' bowlers were made to toil for wickets after finding Dion Stovell in top batting mood, the opener scoring 80 not out from 77 balls. He also hit three sixes and eight fours.
Veteran player-coach Allan Douglas Sr. followed on 46 off 22 balls with six fours and two sixes while Kion Butterfield scored 27.
Danny Brangman finished three for 57 while Lloyd Fray had two for 17 from ten overs with two maidens.
Police 163 PHC 165/5
Veteran Andre Manders had a good all-round performance in leading PHC to this five wicket victory at White Hill.
First he took two wickets for 26 and then he was not out on 35 as PHC coasted to victory.
Batting first, Police found the going rough against medium pacer Ellsworth Bean who finished with four wickets for 42. Teenager McCal Waldron grabbed two for nine off three overs while his father Cal Waldron claimed two for 18.
Anderson Cumberbatch was top bat for Police with 38 while David Bhagwan scored 28.
Also among the runs for PHC was opener Kenny Mills with 35, Ty Williams 28 not out and Jeremy Fray 27. Skipper Ken Pitcher was the chief wicket taker for Police with three for 40 while Eddie Carrington had two for 41.
Leg Trappers IFP 170, Somerset CC 174/9
Jacoby Robinson stroked 56 to lead the Westenders to this one-wicket victory at St. John's field. Also contributing with the bat were Sheridan Ming and Reid Jones with 21 apiece.
Marc Weatherhill, Graham Strange and Andy Harris each took two wickets for Trappers.
Damian Henderson was top bat for the losers with 37 runs.
Somerset Bridge 120 Social Club 122/1.
Social Club defeated Somerset Bridge by nine wickets at Devonshire Rec with Glenn Blakeney topscorer for Social with 75 while Dano Outerbridge struck 36.
Kevin Hurdle led their bowling by taking four for 18 while Jameika Marshall had four for 22.
