What is Riders For Health?
A global, non-profit organisation that has worked for more than 15 years on the problems of delivering health care in Africa.
Riders for Health provide health workers in Africa with motorcycles, training and protective clothing to help them reach more patients across large areas. They work with ministries of health and UN agencies.
Its origins are in motorcycle racing ? and successful fundraising at motorcycling events enables the charity to support pioneering field initiatives to save lives in Africa.

What is the transport problem in Africa?
On that vast continent there is little or no reliable transportation. And the vehicles that do exist are often unreliable in the extreme.
The issue hit hardest by this chronic and desperate situation is the delivery of health care. Men, women and children are dying of easily preventable diseases, simply because they cannot be reached.
