Ironshore Insurance celebrated its eighth year in Bermuda last night with a broker appreciation event attended by Premier Craig Cannonier and Governor George Fergusson.

Also at the event, held at the new The Harbour Rooftop venue at Pier 6, were Mitch Blaser, CEO of Ironshore’s Bermuda operations and COO of Ironshore, Ironshore Group CEO Kevin Kelley, Ironshore directors, and more than 160 employees, brokers, clients and Bermuda business leaders.

Premier Craig Cannonier delivered opening remarks. In his welcome address, Mr Blaser noted that Bermuda has always served as a unique and pioneering marketplace and that Ironshore’s Property and Iron-Starr insurance units continue to innovate and bring new solutions to their clients and brokers.

Mr Kelley noted that 2014 promises to be another exciting year as Ironshore grows its Bermuda business and further expands its global footprint.
