Two men accused of attempted murder were given bail this morning.

Shelton Baker, 24, and Stacey Robinson, 23, have been charged with the attempted murder of Lionel Thomas in St David’s on April 30.

They are also charged with using a firearm to commit the indictable offence of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to injure.

Both accused appeared in Magistrates’ Court.

They initially appeared before the court on October 10 but did not have to submit a plea because the charges are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.

At that appearance, Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the pair into custody. Bail submissions were heard by Mr Warner this morning.

Both men were each given $25,000 bail with one surety and they must wear electronic monitoring devices.

The case was adjourned until February 20.

Mr Baker is being represented by Marc Daniels and Mr Robinson is being defended by Elizabeth Christopher.
