Holden, Furtado doubles hand Pot first defeat
Vasco Mariners 5
Lobster Pot 0
Braces from Richard Holden and Rui Furtado gave league leaders Vasco a comfortable win over previously unbeaten Lobster Pot.
Holden got Vasco off to a good start, scoring in the 17th and 36th minutes before an own goal made it 3-0 at the half.
Eight minutes into the second half, Furtado got his first of the night after a long ball forward saw Lobster Pot goalkeeper Brian Ward attempt to punch the ball but missed clearance allowing the forward to roll the ball into an empty net.
Furtado completed the rout when he scored in the dying stages.
Tuff Dogs 5
Valley FC 3
A hat-trick from Marcel Dill got champions Tuff Dogs back on track with this victory over Valley FC.
Kenny Outerbridge should have given the Dogs the lead in the first minute but put his one-on-one effort against the post before Dill opened the scoring.
The lead was short-lived, however, as Anthony Webb soon equalised.
Aaron Browne put Dogs back in front, only for Webb to level matters again with his second of the match.
Shawn Simons gave the Dogs the lead before the half. Dill netted two more early in the second half. Gary Adams then found the back of the net but the ref ruled it offside despite the linesman keeping his flag down. Peter Sampson pulled a late goal back for Valley.
North Village 7
St. David's 1
A brace from former English professional Kyle Lightbourne guided North Village to a huge win over St. David's.
Helping Lightbourne in the goalscoring department were Maceo Dill, Stephen Coddington, Mark Trott and Tafari Outerbridge.
Milton Jones scored the lone goal for St. David's.
Lock 'N' Key 1
Robin Hood 2
Ryan Matcham netted two goals as Robin Hood handed Lock 'N' Key their first loss of the season.
Matcham scored on either side of the break to give his side a two-goal lead, before a Marlon Dill free kick made for a tense finish.
West End United 4
BAA 2
Frances DeSilva jr. scored a hat-trick as West End United came from behind to beat BAA.
BAA held a 2-1 half-time lead thanks to goals from Martin Jones and Ian Thompson.
United's first half goal came from Matthew Carvelho.
DeSilva scored his three in the second half to make sure his side ran out winners.
Team Fire 6
MR Onions 1
Five different goalscorers got on the scoresheet for Team Fire as they thrashed MR Onions.
Irving Burgess grabbed a double while Justin Robinson, Sean Dill, Mark Ray, and Kean Smith all supported in the scoring department.
Richard Phinn got the lone Onions goal.
