IT executive Carl Musson is to take over the top job at the Regulatory Authority (RA).

Authority commissioner Mr Musson will replace current chairman, IT executive Kent Stewart, who will finish his term of office at the telecoms regulator in January next year.

Mr Stewart will continue to serve as a Commissioner until a replacement is appointed.

The outgoing chairman was the first chairman of the RA, which was set up in 2013.

Mr Musson said of Mr Stewart: “He taken us through the formative years of the authortiy and we are enormously grateful for his invaluable contributions.”
