BCB up on sale reports

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 33,62 points yesterday to close at 4,934.73.On a day of moderate trading, Belco led the advances jumping $2 to close at $25 as investors traded in 400 shares.BF&M rose 50 cents to close at $18 on volume of 5,544 shares and Bermuda Commercial Bank, which has put itself up for sale, gained 45 cents to close at $8 on volume of 1,700 shares.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $1,141,926.00 and the overall volume of shares was 25,724.
