Joan Burgess had a women's high series of 564 and second high game of 204 to help spearhead E and C Well Drilling to a 4-0 triumph over Dolphins in Mixed

Teammate Carl Reid made a contribution as well with a men's second high series of 541. Kevin Minors led Dolphins with a men's third high series of 524 and third high game of 200.

Last Minutes beat B's and G's 4-0 behind Vernon Daniels' 558 men's high series and second high game of 201.

Barry DeCouto had a men's high game of 207 as D and D Rollers defeated Strikers 3-1 while Troublemakers slammed Mix-Ups 4-0 with Traci Francis rolling a women's third high series of 552.

TABLE TENNIS PP The 1992-93 table tennis season gets underway on Saturday with the Bermuda Table Tennis Association's Round Robin tournament at Elliott School commencing at 12 noon, while, Tuesday sees the first league matches being played (7 p.m.

start).

The association has also announced the draw for the preliminary round of the Challenge Cup.

George's Community Centre v Southampton Princess GOLF GLF As Bermuda Golf Association officials prepare to get the 62nd Bermuda Ladies Amateur Championships underway at Mid Ocean Club on Monday, the October 8 cut-off date for the Mutual Risk Management-Exel Limited International Bermuda Open Championships is fast approaching.

Although the response from overseas players has been healthy with 30 pros and 12 amateurs signed up, local entries remain low with only six professionals and nine amateurs entered to date.

BGA secretary Tom Smith said: "I'm confident that this total will nearly double during the next few days, bit I appeal to local golfers to get their act together and pay up over the coming weekend because I will be at Mid Ocean all next week. I will not accept telephone entries. I will only give advice on telephone on how to enter officially.'' Local golfers are also reminded of the monthly medal play competition which continues on Saturday, October 10 at Port Royal. Entries can be telephoned to the Smith by Tuesday, October 5 (5 p.m.).

Meanwhile Smith said tee-off times for the Ladies Amateur Championship medal round on Monday will be announced shortly. Reigning champion Reggie Hawes is seeded number one and she will act as marker in the opening medal round.
