more condominiums on Langton Hill.

The nine new condos -- a mix of two- and three-bedroom units -- will be added to the seven Mount Langton Residences Ltd. units that already exist, said the Hon. Ralph Marshall of architects Marshall Bernardo Partnership.

The condo development used to be part of the adjacent Hamiltonian Hotel & Island Club timeshare resort, but was separated from it a few years ago, Mr.

Marshall said.

The nine new condos are among 88 that the DAB earlier approved in principle.

They are to be constructed in phases over several years.

Mount Langton Residences must still apply for building permits before construction may begin, but Mr. Marshall said work will likely start before the end of the year.

Conditions of the DAB approval are intended to protect trees on the site and assure there is enough parking.
