A 29-year-old man yesterday appeared in Magistrates’ Court in connection with offences against two separate women.The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was not required to enter a plea on a charge of sexual assault causing bodily harm, since it is an indictable offence which must be dealt with by the Supreme Court.He pleaded not guilty to a second charge of intruding on the privacy of a woman in a manner likely to cause alarm.The two offences are alleged to have occurred in Smith’s on May 28.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner refused bail and remanded the man into custody. He is scheduled to return to court on June 14.
