Whitney is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Dave Matthew of Warwick WK 10, Bermuda.
Mercersburg Academy www.mercersburg.edu is a co-educational, independent college preparatory boarding and day school in south-central Pennsylvania, which has prepared students for college and life beyond since 1893. This year there are 440 students enrolled from 27 states and 22 countries.

12 old Bermudian, , now living in Bethel, Ohio, USA was been selected to attend the National Youth Leaders State Conference in Columbus, Ohio in late October. This four-day conference has guided the careers of many business and government leaders in the US.
Daniel was selected from all eighth and ninth graders in Bethel to attend this unique leadership program. Judging was based on academic accomplishments and leadership qualities as assessed by school counsellors.
Daniel, a former student of Port Royal Primary and Warwick Academy is the son of Christopher M. Grimes of Bermuda and Lolly Grimes-Roberson of Ohio. He left Bermuda in 2003 and has returned each summer to visit with family and friends.
Throughout the four-day program, participants will build a working ?toolkit? of strategies to help them successfully dream, create and implement plans that will change how they view their role as leaders in their communities.
?The steps each person takes in discovering his or her own leadership strengths can be a very personal process,? said Mike Lasday, executive director of the Congressional Youth Leadship Council (CYLC), the organization that sponsors NYLSC. ?The National Young Leaders State Conference will help students get at the heart of their innate talents and skills, and help them identify how best they can serve within their communities.

, son of Mr. & Mrs Russell Eddy of ?Eltrym Heights,? Warwick, graduated in London, England on 18th October, 2005, from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Jason was a recipient of a Peter Leitner Scholarship and received grants from the Bermuda Arts Council toward his studies in Drama.
Jason received his bachelor of arts, honours, acting. Jason will be appearing in Shakespeare?s Orhtello as Roderigo at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, Old Street, London. Production begins Janauary 31st.
Jason?s sister, recently embarked on her Master of Arts, Design: Jewelry at the University of the Arts, London, Central Saint Martins, London.
