UBP youth wing set for Easter kite day
Friday at Horseshoe Bay is set to go ahead again this year.
The new attraction at this year's event on April 21 will be live entertainment all day long.
The youth branch of the UBP, Young United Bermuda (YUB), has organised entertainment from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A kite competition is the feature of the day with registration taking place between 10 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., followed by judging.
Organisers have stipulated that kites entered must be traditional Bermudian designs. Prizes will be given in three age groups for four categories: best giant kite; best small kite; most original kite; and most beautiful kite.
