A talk by historian Sir Hilary Beckles at the Bermuda College tonight has been cancelled.Sir Hilary, who is Pro-Vice Chancellor and Principal of Cave Hill Campus (Barbados) of the University of the West Indies, was due to speak on ‘An Education Revolution for the Caribbean’.He was also set to meet with the Minister of Education and President of Bermuda College and to visit CedarBridge Academy and the Berkeley Institute to create further links between the Cave Hill Campus and Bermuda.A Bermuda College spokeswoman said yesterday: “Sir Hilary Beckles has had to cancel, due to unforeseen circumstances. He does expect to reschedule his visit to Bermuda at a later date.”
