Stonington Hotel.
Lesley D. White, a graduate of the college's Department of Hotel Technology and Administration, on April 20 became the assistant manager of Stonington.
With extensive experience in the hotel industry in Bermuda and overseas, Ms White will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hotel. She will also act for the general manager in his absence.
Meanwhile, Stephen Harrison -- formerly of AS&K Management Services Ltd. -- has joined the hotel as its controller.
Mr. Harrison will be responsible for all accounting functions of the hotel.
The Controller at Stonington also trains students in the management and front desk programmes at the college.
Stonington's general manager Esan Frederick welcomed the pair.
"The management team at Stonington has dual responsibilities, which call for an especially dedicated management style,'' he said. "With the appointment of Ms White and Mr. Harrison, the team at Stonington will remain of the highest calibre.
"Bermuda College is a varied campus. As a consequence, we are lucky enough to attract people from a range of disciplines.'' Mr. Frederick added that it was "particularly rewarding to welcome back a former student''.
