Canadian Invitational Tournament in Toronto following a 42-40 triumph over the hosts in their final game on Sunday.

The Island squad, playing in the tournament for the first time, returned yesterday with a 3-1 record.

Spearheading the locals to victory were Kimale Pitt who had a 65 percent shooting average and Erika Russell who averaged 52 percent.

Before defeating the Canadian team, Bermuda scored victories over Dame Alice Harpur School of England (31-19) and Ontario Under-23s (37-25).
