Eddie Fisher, chairman of Child Watch, has been receiving dozens of phone calls since The Royal Gazette published an article about the organisation, its foundations and their survey.

"I've been getting phone calls -- during the days, through the night, early mornings.'' said Mr. Fisher.

"People even stop me when I'm out for a run. I'm not going running anymore.'' Mr. Fisher said jokingly.

At a recent press conference, Child Watch revealed their primary objectives are to survey the general public, study the demographics and rank the results for follow-up tasks aimed at providing fathers with rights and privileges to take part in raising their children.

"It's a definite hit.'' said Mr. Fisher, noting that the organisation wanted all the feedback it could get -- from all perspectives.

Survey forms can be filled out at commercial sites around the island, including: Bermuda Paint, Mail Boxes Unlimited, Speciality Inn, Sandys Hardware, Webs, Vision Video, Squires, Bodytech Health Club, Olympic Club, Nirvana at Ariel Sands Club and Cottages, St. George's Cricket Club, Chick's Bar and Grill, Kittie's Place, East End Mini-Yacht Club and Royal Artillery Club.

Inquires about the charity or persons interested in membership can leave a message at a voice mail box, 291-1000.
