Youth clash washed out

favourites England was rained out in Holland yesterday and has been rescheduled for today which was originally pencilled in as a rest day.

Yesterday's other matches, Denmark against Scotland and Canada against Holland were also hit by the rain and will be played today.

Bermuda lost their first two matches, going down to Scotland by 95 runs on Sunday. Scotland scored 189 and then restricted Bermuda to 94 with Kwame Tucker the high man with 23. Quinton Sherlock claimed four for 33 and Maurice Lowe two for 42.

On Monday, Bermuda lost to Holland by 104 runs, the home team blasting 232 and then dismissing Bermuda for 128 with Jason Anderson scoring 22, captain Sammy Robinson 20 and Kameron Fox 21.

Fox took three for 39 to lead the Bermuda bowling while Sherlock took two for 25 and Lowe two for 50.

Bermuda's remaining matches after today are against Ireland tomorrow, Canada on Friday and Denmark on Saturday.
