The passengers later disembarked and remained in the British Airways/Air Canada lounge until departure some time later.

TRAVELLER STOPPED CTS Traveller stopped A Supreme Court judge granted the Bank of Butterfield and Island Wide Security Ltd. permission to stop a former security guard they say owes them money from leaving Bermuda.

The two companies alleged that Dennis Nathan was due to leave for the UK en route to his home in Jamaica on Thursday while still owing money. Mr. Nathan was a former security officer for Island Wide Security.

The two companies obtained a court order on Thursday to prevent Mr. Nathan from leaving.

THIRSTY THIEVES STRIKE CRM Thirsty thieves strike Twelve bottles of liquor were stolen sometime last week from a boat moored at the Foot of the Lane, Pembroke.

Wine, rum, gin, vodka, and whiskey were taken from a storage room. The crime was not discovered until 9.30 a.m. Friday.

And a vacationing couple returned to their St. James' Court apartment to discover three bottles of Moet champagne were stolen overnight on Friday. The culprits also consumed several bottles of tonic water in the process.

MAN TO BE CHARGED CTS Man to be charged A man will appear in Magistrates' Court this morning on shoplifting charges after he was arrested for allegedly red handed stealing four pairs of Ralph Lauren Polo Jeans, Guess jeans and shirts, and a pair of Gant USA dress pants.

An alert security guard witnessed two trips by the man between 4.30 and 5 p.m.

on Saturday and had summoned Police.

The man was searched and detained at Hamilton Police Station and the items were recovered.

DIVER GETS IN TROUBLE SEA AC Diver gets in trouble A visitor was rushed to hospital on Thursday after suffering breathing problems while diving on Thursday.

Marine Police responded to the medical emergency on board a diving boat at the Vixen dive site in Somerset.

They received a report, from Harbour Radio at 2.55 p.m., that the 29-year-old male visitor had been having problems breathing.

Officers arrived and administered oxygen as the boat made its way to Pembroke.

When the boat arrived back at Albouy's Point the man was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. He has now been discharged.

VISITOR INJURED AC Visitor injured A cruise ship visitor was treated in hospital for a cut on her foot after falling on rocks on Hawkins Island on Friday.

Marine Police picked up the woman around 9.30 a.m. from a boat moored at the island and took her to Albouy's Point.

Officers transferred her to a King Edward VII Memorial Hospital ambulance.

THIEF RAIDS TAXI CRM Thief raids taxi A quantity of cash and other personal items were taken from a secured taxi after 2.30 a.m. on Friday morning.

The driver discovered the theft after returning to the car which was parked on Church Street near the Washington Mall.
