52 accidents during one week

The Bermuda Police Service continues to urge the public to slow down and drive and ride responsibility on the roads.
A spokesperson warned drivers to always wear seat belts and ensure that children are restrained in the car.
And persons travelling on motorcycles were advised to fasten their helmets and avoid making a third lane.
During the week of March 1 through March 8, there were 11 reported injury accidents and 41 accidents involving damage only.
Eleven people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 12 vehicles were stolen.
All of the vehicles were either auxiliary cycles or motorcycles. One has been recovered.
