Fire breaks out at Pembroke home

A Pembroke home suffered smoke and heat damage during a fire,About ten Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded to the blaze on Berkeley Road at about 11.45pm.No-one was injured in the fire, which damaged three motorcycles and part of the building’s porch and the kitchen roof.Said a Police spokesman: “Around 11:45pm on Wednesday, February 13, police and Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service personnel attended a reported fire at a residence in the St John’s Road/Berkeley Road Pembroke area.“The fire apparently extensively damaged three motorcycles outside the residence before firefighters extinguished the blaze. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
