BSX Index drops 26.6 points

The Bermuda Stock Exchange index dropped by more than one percent yesterday after Bank of Bermuda shares fell on a quiet day of trading.
The Island's largest bank's shares fell by 85 cents, or 1.9 percent to $44.10 on just 200 shares traded and Bank of Butterfield closed unchanged at $32.
The only other shares to trade were 1,000 Devonshire Industries, which closed with no change at $9.00.
The index closed down 26.6 points on a volume of 2,600 shares worth $62,620.
