The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index gained a tenth of a percent yesterday after a quiet day of trading.

The only price change was in BF&M shares which rose 50 cents to $9. Bank of Bermuda and Band of Butterfield both closed unchanged at $44.50 and $32 respectively.

The index closed up 1.71 points at 2,622.85 on a volume of 3,430 shares worth $116,160.
