The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 92 points yesterday to close at 3,940.61.

On a moderate day of trading Bermuda Aviation Services rose 50 cents to close at $8.00 as investors traded in 100 shares and Butterfield Bank rose 5 cents to close at $46.75 on volume of 21,726 shares.

Bermuda Press Holdings fell 75 cents to close at $13.25 as investors traded in 4,486 shares and Bermuda Commercial Bank declined 25 cents as 100 shares changed hands and 5,350 KeyTech shares to remain unchanged at $13.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $1,145,584.10 and the overall volume of shares was 31,762.
