The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 8.47 points or 0.32 percent yesterday to close at 2,634.09. A total of 25,576 shares worth $703,133.25 were traded.

The Bank of Bermuda remained unchanged at $44 despite 7,976 shares being traded while the Bank of Butterfield gained 50 cents or 1.5 percent to close at $33 on volume of 3,000.

Masters Ltd. fell 50 cents or 8.3 percent to close at $5.50 after 2,000 shares were traded.

Bermuda Container Line gained 45 cents or 8.9 percent after 6,500 shares were traded to close at $5.50.

Belco Holdings fell 50 cents or 1.8 percent to close at $28 after 100 shares were traded, and KeyTech Ltd. also fell 50 cents or 1.2 percent to close at $42.50 after 4,500 shares were traded.

BTC warrants gained $1.50 or 1.8 percent to close at $98.50 after 198,000 issues were traded.
