The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 46.13 points yesterday to close at 4,195.02.

On an active day of trading Argus rose $1.75 to close at $12.75 as investors traded in 10,000 shares while Belco fell $1 to close at $39 on volume of 600 shares.

Bank of Butterfield traded in 2,928 shares to remain unchanged at $52.50, 300 BF&M changed hands to close unchanged at $18 and Bermuda Aviation Services traded in 1,100 shares to close at $6.50.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $317,270.00 and the overall volume of shares was 14,928.
