BSX ends week up
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 219.346 points last week to close at 4,913.88.
During a short week of trading due to the Cup Match holiday, Belco was the only issue to advance, gaining 50 cents to close at $41.50 on volume of 149 shares.
Butterfield Bank fell $1.50 to close at $59.50 as investors traded in 15,114 shares and Devonshire Industries fell 15 cents to close at $14.80 on volume of 1,100 shares.
LOM traded in 6,500 shares to close unchanged at $2.55, Argus traded in 700 shares to close unchanged at $14.25 and BF&M traded in 787 shares to close unchanged at $15.
Meanwhile, Bermuda Press Holdings traded in 5,000 shares to close unchanged at $14.50, Bermuda Aviation Services traded in 4,900 shares to close unchanged at $6.75 and 25 KeyTech shares changed hands to close unchanged at $15.50.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX last week was $1,071,297.70 and the overall volume of shares was 34,289.
