Mrs. Lucy Willitts announced yesterday that with the help of several giving people the second container is now filled.
"We are now appealing for only food and medicine. We have been inundated with warm clothing,'' Mrs. Willitts said.
"We have even been working through the rain. The volunteers will be at Lindo's today from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"Sunday will be a rest day but we will be back on Monday.'' She added: "If at that time we can take more clothing we will let the public know.'' Mrs. Willitts is also asking that donators bring canned goods and non-perishable items along with soap, detergent, baby aspirin and toothpaste.
However food remains a priority.
"We are hoping to have the three containers shipped next week.'' INVESTIGATION INTO DEATH OF 48-YEAR-OLD OBT Investigation into death of 48-year-old Police are investigating the death of 48-year-old Wellington William Tuzo, of Rockville Lane, Pembroke.
He was found "in a collapsed state'' at his home just before 9 a.m.
yesterday, said Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning.
"An autopsy has not yet been completed, but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances,'' he added.
TWO PEOPLE HURT IN HEAD-ON SMASH AC Two people hurt in head-on smash Two people were hurt in a head-on smash at a bend in South Road, Warwick. It involved a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Mazda, and occurred at about 3.45 p.m. on Thursday.
A 22-year-old male passenger in the Lancer was detained overnight in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after hurting his chest.
And the 21-year-old woman driver of the Mazda needed treatment for neck injuries. Police say the crash occurred just west of Camp Road.
The Lancer was travelling east on South Road when the collision occurred, said Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning.
He added both vehicles were badly damaged. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
FIRE CAUSES $1,000 WORTH OF DAMAGE FIR Fire causes $1,000 worth of damage The price of forgetfulness was $1,000 at one home this week. For that was the fire damage bill after a pot was left on a stove at a property on the Pembroke/Devonshire border.
Firemen went to the home in Second Avenue, off Shelton Road, at about 4.30 p.m. on Thursday. There was smoke damage to the ceiling in the kitchen and hall, and a cabinet. Up to $1,000 damage was caused, a Fire Service spokesman said.

Mr. Charles Bascome has pulled off a major coup by attracting internationally-known guitarist Mr. Wallace Wally Richardson and bass violinist Mr. Lisle Atkinson.
Mr. Richardson has appeared with well-known artists Sarah Vaughan, Benny Carter and Milt Hilton. He was a music teacher and band director at Rutgers University, having served on the Englewood New Jersey Board of Education for a tenure of 15 years.
Mr. Atkinson has a BA degree from the Manhattan School of Music and has appeared with Nina Simone, Kenny Burrell, Billy Taylor and Clark Terry.
He is presently appearing in the New York Area with the Neo-Brass Ensemble of which he is the founder and director.
Also appearing, at the March 18 and 19 festival, will be local musicians Mr.
Charles Bascome on drums, pianist Mr. Ronald Lightbourne and saxophonist Mr.
Maxwell Maybury.
The first night will be a black tie affair with tickets at $30, after which there will be a reception. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Packwood Home.
POLICE INVESTIGATING BURGLARIES CRM Police investigating burglaries Police are investigating a string of Thursday night burglaries in which $1,000 was stolen.
In one, a thief grabbed $650 from a wallet after breaking into a home in Middle Road, Devonshire, through a bedroom window. A couple at a Southampton hotel also lost out when $150 was taken from a canvas bag.
The bag was discovered nearby with a large amount of travellers' cheques still there. In addition, thieves escaped with $200 from a hotel room in South Road, Paget. They entered through an unlocked sliding glass door.
MAN DISQUALIFIED FOR DRUNK DRIVING CTS Man disqualified for drunk driving A man who fell off his motorbike during a road accident will not be riding again for 12 months.
Dennis Fairbairn, 29, of St.
John's Road, Pembroke, admitted driving while impaired by alcohol. Prosecuting Sgt. Earl Kirby told Magistrates' Court that officers had discovered Fairbairn's bike in the middle of Serpentine Road. Fairbairn was leaning against a parked car.
Sgt. Kirby said: "He was unsteady on his feet and he smelled of liquor. He was asked if he had been drinking and he said: `Yeah, a bit'.'' The defendant was taken to Hamilton Police Station where he gave a positive breath test.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis fined Fairbairn $500 and disqualified him for 12 months.
