Perinchief's condition now `stable'

Carlton Perinchief's status had been serious condition on Thursday at the burns unit of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.
Mr. Perinchief, 37, suffered 90 percent burns after a gas stove exploded at his Crest View Road apartment in the early hours of August 16.
He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later flown to the US.
A Police investigation has been launched into the incident and Mr.
Perinchief's 28-year-old girlfriend has been interviewed as part of the inquiry.

The woman had just completed the livery cycle test at Castletown Cycles and was travelling along Castle Harbour Road at around 11 a.m.
She apparently lost control of her cycle, broke through a chain on the side of the road and went over a nearby embankment before falling off.
The woman injured her arms and legs and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in an ambulance.
