The Duchess, accompanied by daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, was due to arrive this weekend, sources told The Royal Gazette yesterday.

It is believed they will be staying for a week at the Wreck Hill estate of entertainment mogul Mr. Robert Stigwood, whose credits include the films Grease and Saturday Night Fever. Mr. Stigwood is said to be on the Island.

In March, Mr. Stigwood did the Duchess a favour by giving a paralysed British boxer and his family an all-expenses-paid stay at his luxurious estate near Somerset, where it is understood security has been beefed up recently.

The gift for Mr. Gary Davidson was at the request of the Duchess of York, the president of Britain's Motor Neuron Association.

Mr. Davidson, 41, is paralysed from the neck down with the disease of the nervous system. He uses a computer to communicate.

"The Duchess wanted to give the whole family a break,'' a friend said. "Gary has to be carried and his son Charleigh has had to help a lot around the house. This holiday will allow them all to relax.'' The Duchess is separated from Prince Andrew, the Queen's second son, who is fourth in line to the throne.
